  Tonight I did: -- swinging arms in front of body, around body - cat/dog pose 20 times - warrior pose - short foot, pulling towel, foot stretch on stairs, toe spreading, one repetition of raising up feet from toes and balls of feet - total of 20 to 30 minutes walking, but not all at once (things to consider next time: crab pose -either one; right hand side pull leg to chest; table psoas stretch; diaphragmatic breathing) Commentary: important to listen to self and not extend beyond a conservative series of moves.  Upon finishing my exercise exercises and this entry, I tried to think of a proper image, and somehow the blue rider group name occurred to me. A glimpsed the Kandinsky symbolist painting from 1903 called the Blue Rider. And I looked through other work by the group that would take on the name of that painting. In May to June of this year, I suffered a domino effect of accidents that resulted in, among other things, some pain that has not resolved yet. It is now November 23. This journal will serve as my documentation of my way out of this chronic pain. As it stands, I have  -plantar fasciitis symptoms that come and go in both feet -a bit of shin splints on the outside of my left leg - pain in my sitz bone - occasional pain in my piriformis - occasional pain in my right hip These are all resolvable, but they require finding the proper exercises.  To restate it, that's what this journal is: my account of doing exercise exercises, and trying to find exercises and chronicling the results and the struggles and the successes.  Ideally, I would include images and accounts from art and literature that could make this kind of work more resonant and, to be honest, more interesting to me.
